Usage

zowe profiles create caview-profile <profileName> [options]

Positional Arguments

• profileName (string)

  • Specifies the name of the new caview profile. You can load this profile by using the name on commands that support the "--caview-profile" option.

Options

• --protocol (string)

  • Protocol of the target View REST API instance.

    Default value: https
    Allowed values: http, https

• --host | --hostname (string)

  • Hostname or ip address of the target View REST API instance.

• --port (number)

  • Port of the target View REST API instance.

    Default value: 443

• --base-path (string)

  • Context name of the target View REST API instance.

    Default value: web-viewer

• --user | --username (string)

  • User name used to authenticate against the target View REST API instance.

• --password (string)

  • Password used to authenticate against the target View REST API instance.

• --overwrite | --ow (boolean)

  • Overwrite the caview profile when a profile of the same name exists.

• --disable-defaults | --dd (boolean)

  • Disable populating profile values of undefined properties with default values.

Examples

• Create a profile for View™ Plug-in for Zowe CLI named 'myProfile' to connect to 'mf.company.org' over HTTP on port 80 using the 'johndoe' account.:

  • zowe profiles create caview-profile myProfile --hostname mf.company.org --protocol http --port 80 --username johndoe --password secret Copy
